Kinship Charter

All member of Keepers of Ayrshire are expected to conduct themselves honorably

Whether it is in our actions, or speech in any public channel, we shall always strive to avoid being rude,
or offensive towards others.
This includes, prolonged arguments, name calling, racial slurs, profanity, cause unnecessary drama,
or any other behaviors that could dishonor
the kinship, or yourself.

Always keep in mind, what you say and do, in the kinship, or any other channel, reflects not only on you, but all of us.

Unity is our creed

In order to achieve, and nurture, a sense of community
within our ranks, we need to diligently protect
our relationships with each other.
Problems arise in any family, we are no different.
If you find yourself in a situation with a kinsman,
try to resolve the issue privately.
If it cannot be resolved,
come to the kinship's leadership for a hand in a resolution.

In the event that a kinsman decides to leave the kinship,
for any reason, all criticism is to be left inside your head.
Nothing can leave a bad taste in someone's mouth,
than to come in on an alt for removal, than to see themselves being slandered by folks they may have considered friends.

Usual joking around aside, public ridicule of another kinsman
may result in the dismissal of the offending party, or parties.

Help your fellow kinsmen as often as you are able.

Everyone is encouraged to contribute their time and talents
to the kinship whenever possible.
Though some kinships may require a certain amount of time
spent helping people in their kinships.
We prefer to make it a voluntary action,
as it will carry more weight when given freely,
than as a part of a rule set.

Just remember, the time and effort you put into the kinship,
will only allow us to grow as a whole.
The hand you lend now, may just be the hand
lifting you up in when you need it.

Never be afraid to ask even the most mundane question
if you are needing help.
Just know, it will not be tolerated if you attempt to pressure
anyone into dropping everything to help you.
If the help is there, and available, there will be help.
