A Letter from CG Hunter
Dear Friends,
As December draws to a close and we find ourselves in the quiet space between the rush of preparation and the joy of celebration, we wanted to take a moment to share what this season truly means to us—and to thank you for being part of our story.
Christmas has a way of revealing what matters most. Beneath the twinkling lights, the carefully wrapped packages, and the tables set with intention, there's something deeper happening. We're not just decorating our homes or preparing elaborate meals. We're creating containers for connection, building stages where love can be expressed, felt, and remembered. Every candle we light, every wreath we hang, every table we set is really an invitation—an invitation to pause, to gather, and to recognize the profound gift of the people we get to share our lives with.
We've spent this year helping you create beautiful spaces. We've provided the pieces that brought your vision to life—the greenery, the serving pieces, the accents that made your home feel complete. But we've always known that these pieces, as much care as we put into sourcing and crafting them, are never the point. They're simply tools. What you create with them—the memories, the laughter, the moments of genuine presence—that's where the real beauty lives.
The cake pedestal matters because it holds the dessert your grandmother taught you to make. The linen napkins are special because they're the ones you smooth across laps as you share not just food, but stories, updates, worries, and joys. The wreath on your door signals "you're welcome here, you're expected, you belong." These pieces become meaningful only through what you do with them and who you gather around them.
Because that's what the holidays are really about. Not perfection. Not impressing anyone. The holidays are about gratitude made visible. They're about taking the intangible feelings of thankfulness, love, and appreciation and giving them physical form through our actions, our spaces, and our presence.
The food we spend hours preparing isn't just sustenance—it's an act of care. The time we invest in setting a beautiful table isn't vanity—it's a way of saying "you matter enough for me to make this special." The traditions we maintain aren't obligations—they're threads that connect us to our past and weave us into the future. When we repeat the same recipes, sing the same songs, tell the same stories, we're saying: this is who we are, this is what we value, and you are part of this continuing narrative.
And the Christmas decorations we offer—the jeweled ornaments that catch the light, the realistic pine and cedar garlands that frame your doorways, the flocked wreaths and elegant trees? They're about creating an atmosphere where connection can flourish. Our handcrafted pieces aren't just pretty accents. They're tools for marking time as sacred, for designating certain days and spaces as set apart for what truly matters. When you hang our garland across your mantel or place our candleholders on your table, you're signaling that this moment, this gathering, this season deserves to be honored and remembered.
This season, we've been particularly moved by our community. We've watched you share photos of your homes transformed not just by our products, but by your creativity and your unique expressions of what home means to you. You've shown us that home isn't about having perfect décor—it's about creating spaces where people feel they can be fully themselves. You've demonstrated that beauty emerges naturally when things are done with care and intention.
So as we close out another year, we want to say thank you. Thank you for inviting us into your homes through the pieces you've chosen. Thank you for trusting us to be part of your celebrations, your quiet moments, and your everyday beauty. Thank you for understanding that when we talk about "luxury" or "elegance," we're talking about the luxury of time spent with people you love, the elegance of a life lived with intention, and the wealth that comes from gratitude rather than acquisition.
Most of all, thank you for being our community. For supporting what we're building, for sharing our vision of homes that are both beautiful and lived-in, and for believing alongside us that the spaces we create matter because they shape the experiences we have and the memories we make.
As you gather with your loved ones this season—whether that's a house full of family, a quiet dinner for two, or chosen family who've become your people—we hope you'll take a moment to simply be present. To notice the faces around your table. To appreciate the hands that prepared the food. To recognize the gift of another year, another gathering, another chance to say "I love you" in all the spoken and unspoken ways we communicate that truth.
We're honored to be part of your story. We're grateful for every home we've been invited into, every table we've helped you set, and every moment we've played even a small role in creating. And we're already looking forward to next year—to new collections, new inspirations, and new opportunities to help you create the beautiful, meaningful spaces where life's best moments unfold.
May your home be filled with warmth, your table surrounded by those you love, and your heart full of gratitude for all that truly matters. Here's to the season, to the people who make it special, and to the beauty we create together.
Sincerely, with love...
